When I went to art school to study graphic design, it was required that all art students draw constantly. I had Life Drawing and Drawing Problems courses for three years. Drawing/illustration was never my strong point. I was able to draw better than the average person but compared to some of the other students I met in school I felt inferior.. I made it a point to get better. To feel confident with my own abilities. Drawing is the basis for putting down not only what we see in front of us but also what the mind's eye sees. Artists develop their own eye-hand vocabulary over time. I went through several phases experimenting and developing my own styles and techniques. The following are just a few of the many drawings and techniques that I developed and enjoyed working in.
